A quote from our Founder Father Francis:  “When we wake in the morning we know that we have two choices.  We can go back to sleep and dream our dreams or we can wake up and chase them.” In reading the ‘Procurement: Our Programs Needs’ page you'll discover the programs created for the people of Nagwa.  The programs are not only in search of funds.  We need people that feel drawn to or are inspired by the idea of volunteering with the poor.  Not only will you help others, you yourself will have a life changing experience.  We can almost guarantee that you will appreciate your life, back home, in a way you never did before.  If you would like to contribute your talents, we welcome you with open arms.  You need not be “qualified” in any particular area, our only requisite is compassion.

We welcome everybody as a volunteer.  We would be especially happy if people could help us in the following areas:

* Cooperative Garden – implementation of the new agricultural training and technologies we are initiating; solar powered water pumps, a sprinkler irrigation system, pro-biotic use for the soil.
* Ashray School – we are looking for people who can assist in teaching various subjects such as; Arts, English, Social Sciences, Health and Hygiene and so forth.
* Ashray Clinic – we are looking for people who can assist in areas of: nutrition, physiotherapy (especially with paraplegics), organization and implementation of projects.
