What We Do

Educating: ACT provides free education to the underprivileged children of the neighboring basti. About 125 students currently study in the Ashray School (K-5) and the evening coaching classes (classes 6-12).

Empowering: The ACT sewing class opens the door to financial independence for young girls and women. ACT vocational training also includes computer classes to help its trainees acquire the technological literacy required in today’s market.

Nourishing: ACT provides nutritious milk, chyawanprash, and fruits to the children every day.

Healing: The ACT walk-in clinic offers free health check ups and treats the everyday ailments of the residents of the Nagwa basti.
